A few weeks ago I helped Stuart Stevenson of MPM in Wichita complete and tune a controller retrofit on one of the machines used at his shop. He reports that it is now in daily use.
He took some photos of the completed machine to share with other users of LinuxCNC's Enhanced Machine Controller. I understand he has plans to convert/resurrect several other machines using of LinuxCNC's Enhanced Machine Controller. The first on the list is a 20? foot tall horizontal mill. It should be a very interesting project. |
